The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner had made an application U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act (for short "L. A. Act"). The Collector decided the said application. The petitioner did not accept the said award, as such filed an application invoking Sec. 28-A(3) of the L. A. Act for referring it to the Court. According to the learned counsel since September 2014 no decision has been taken upon the same and it is not referred to the Court.

We have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader also.

In case the petitioner has moved the Collector for referring the award passed U/Sec. 28-A to the Court as per Sec. 28-A(3) of the L. A. Act (Exhibit - A), then the Collector shall take decision upon the same and on being satisfied, refer the same to the Court expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from today.
