This Petition is filed for grant of rental compensation towards the acquisition of the Petitioner's land for 'K.T. Ware' at Village Shivani, Tq. And District Latur.

This Court, in a group of Writ Petitions, one of which is Writ Petition No. 12098 of 2015, directed vide order dated 5th August, 2016, that in case the applications filed by the Petitioners for rental compensation are not yet decided, the respondent authority shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, after hearing all concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of 9 months. It is not in dispute that in the same Writ Petition, the concerned authority has decided the issue of rental compensation.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners seeks similar directions in the present petition. The learned Advocate appearing for the Acquiring Body and learned AGP for the State submit that similar directions, as were issued in the above referred Writ Petition, be issued in the present petition.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner will submit the Representation for rental compensation to Respondent No. 1 within a period of two (2) weeks. We direct that the Respondent No. 1, on receipt of such Representation, shall consider and decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, after hearing all the concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (6) months thereafter.
