Heard learned Advocate for the applicant. This application is filed for restoration of the writ petition, registration of which was refused in view of order dated 02.04.2018 passed by the learned Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. The petitioner, inspite of order, had not removed office objections. However, the office record shows that the papers of the petition are destroyed. It is case of the applicant that the same matter though was on Board was remained unnoticed due to oversight. It is only after the Advocate tried to get the matter circulated in 2022, he got knowledge about dismissal, because of which delay is caused of 2506 days.

For the reasons recorded, the delay needs to be condoned. Hence, the delay is condoned. Since no notice was issued to the respondents prior to rejection of the petition, this Court finds that no notice is required even today.

Considering the above, the application stands allowed. The petition is restored to its original position. The petitioner to supply fresh copy of the petition to the Registry of this Court. Office to act on the said copy of the petition, as if original petition. Said exercise be completed within two weeks from today.
