By these Applications, the Applicant/Appellant seeks to replace name of Appellant from M/s Ghai Constructions through its Proprietor Mr. Jaspalsingh s/o Hardayalsingh Ghai with M/s Ghai Construction Engineers and Contractors through Proprietor Ms. Manmeet Kaur d/o Jaspalsingh Ghai.

Learned counsel for Respondent has opposed the Applications.

Though Applications are opposed by Respondent, nothing is pointed out to this Court as to what prejudice will cause to the Respondent if replacement is allowed. Perusal of Application indicates the circumstance in which this replacement is necessary. It is seen that the firm is a proprietary concern and earlier represented by father of Applicant who expired on 25.07.2023. There is no contest to the fact that the present Applicant is the proprietor of firm M/s Ghai Construction Engineer and Contractors. 4.

In view of this, there is no impediment in allowing the Applications. Applications are allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'. Amendment be carried out within a period of two weeks from today. ( R. M. JOSHI) Judge dyb
