The Petitioner prays for issuance of an appointment order in the light of her name being at serial No.16 in the wait list of 2017 pertaining to the advertisement No.2 of 2017. Grievance is that no appointment order has yet been issued.

The learned Advocate representing the MSRTC, who was requested to take instructions, has promptly taken instructions and submits that the Petitioner actually belongs to the SBC category. Since there was no reservation for SBC, she falsely mentioned her category as OBC and her name was enlisted in the candidates in the OBC category. This aspect was noticed and as the Petitioner never belongs to OBC, her selection from the OBC category was cancelled

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner is not aware about such rejection of her selection for the reason mentioned. Let the MSRTC convey to her such decision and she may decide whether to challenge it or not. 4.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. We would expect the MSRTC to inform the Petitioner of the rejection of her selection on 1st March, 2018 for the reasons that have been conveyed to us, on or before 31st March, 2023, if not already communicated as per it's records.
