DATED : 24th March, 2015 PER COURT :- 1] Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

2] This is an application for regular bail. The applicant is facing prosecution for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code in connection with Crime No. 62 of 2014, registered with police station Rahata, District Ahmednagar.

3] The charge sheet is already filed. After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant, when the court was not inclined to grant bail, the learned counsel for the applicant wish to withdraw the present application. However, he submitted that direction be given to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kopergaon to expedite the trial. 4] In view of the request made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the present Criminal Application is dismissed as withdrawn.

5] Speedy trial is the right of the accused.

6] Looking to the age of the present applicant and looking to the nature of the evidence, this court is of the view that much time will not be consumed for the trial.

crap1001.15 7] In that view of the matter, the learned Additional Sessions Judge is directed to dispose of the trial within a period of one year from the receipt of the order. 8] With these observations, Criminal Application is disposed of.
