Perused the order passed by the Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) Nos. 28814/2013 dated 09.12.2013. The Supreme Court has permitted applicants to withdraw 50% of the enhanced amount of compensation without security and the balance amount is directed to be released on condition of furnishing security to the satisfaction of the Collector. 2.

Applicant has already withdrawn part of the amount on furnishing bank guarantee. In view of the order passed by the Supreme Court, applicant prays for withdrawal of amount of interest accrued on the amount deposited in fixed deposit. Considering the contentions raised in the application, application deserve to be allowed and the same is accordingly allowed. The bank guarantee furnished by applicant stands discharged and same be returned to applicant. Applicant is permitted to withdraw amount of interest accrued on fixed deposit, deposited in the bank on furnishing security to the satisfaction of the Registrar for the like amount.
