The petitioner seeks direction to decide the validation proceeding expeditiously.

In case validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner is pending before the Committee, then the Committee may endeavour to decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 29.03.2022.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
