The applicants in Criminal Application No.1178 of 2016 are accused in Crime No.235 of 2015 registered at Begampura Police Station, Aurangabad, for the offence punishable under sections 376, 354, 342, 509, 109 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Respondent No.2 in Criminal Application No.1178 of 2016 and applicant No.1 in Criminal Application No.1573 of 2016 is the complainant. She is also an accused in Crime No.337 of
( 2 ) cria1178.16 2015 registered at Shivaji Nagar Police Station, Beed, for the offence punishable under section 384, 385, 389 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. The accused in both these cases made serious allegations against each other. It seems that the parties have now settled the dispute and have arrived at a compromise. Only because compromise is arrived at, we we not have allowed these applications, but having regard to the circumstances, specially the age of respondent No.2 and nature of allegations made also against her, we are of the view that in order to safeguard her future, we would allow both these applications.

In view of the compromise, both the crimes mentioned above along with criminal cases initiated pursuant to them, shall stand quashed.

The Criminal Applications are accordingly disposed of.
