ORDER:

1.

The present contempt petition is filed on the ground that the respondents have not obeyed the order passed in Writ Petition and subsequently in Contempt Petition No. 474 of 2017 dt.05.10.2017. Under order dt. 05.10.2017, we had recorded that within three months the proceedings should be decided. It ought to have been decided by now.

Mr Patil, the learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the mother of the Joint Commissioner, who

2 Sr2CP147.2018 is a member of the Committee, has expired. The learned Counsel further submits that the hearing is already concluded and the matter is now reserved for orders.

We expect the Committee to decide the proceedings within a month in any circumstances or else this Court will issue notice of Contempt of Courts to the respondents.

With these observations, the Contempt Petition is disposed of. No costs.
