Heard Mr. Hon, the learned senior counsel along with Mr. Choudhari, the learned counsel for petitioners and Mr. Tope, the learned A. G. P. for respondents/State.

The petitions are filed seeking grant in aid to the petitioner institutions.

It is also submitted that, the petitioners have given representations to the Deputy Director of Education and copy of it has been given to the respondent No. 1.

Considering the fact that, representations are already given, we have not considered the merits of the contentions. 5.

In the light of the above, we pass the following order. 6.

The respondent No. 1 shall consider the representations filed by petitioners seeking grant in aid to their institutions, in

3 wp 1723.13 case the same are pending with the respondent No. 1 on its own merits, in accordance with law, policy and rules expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (6) months from today. 7.

In case the representations are not with the respondent No. 1, then the petitioners may file fresh representations, which shall be decided by the respondent No. 1 on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of the representations.
