By order dated 12.07.2023 passed in Writ Petition No. 927 of 2023, this Court directed the Corporation to decide the application of the petitioner dated 7.4.2001 expeditiously and within 90 days. Reference is made in the said order that the petitioner's application dated 31.10.2022, which is preceded by applications filed earlier, would be considered along with the pending applications of similarly situated physically challenged persons, for allotment of a shop on lease basis at the current rates in the Nath Supermarket or Bholenath Supermarket or Piya Supermarket, by following the due procedure.

Learned Advocate for the Corporation submits that for the

(2) 922- C.P. No. 229-2024.odt present, there are no vacant shops at these three markets and as and when the vacant shop would be available, the petitioner's application would be given preference considering the fact that his application is pending since 7.4.2001.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that his application dated 7.4.2001 was not decided within the time stipulated by this Court. Be that as it may, we record the statement of learned Advocate for the Corporation as undertaking to this Court and dispose of the Contempt Petition.
