By order dated 10.4.2017, this Court had issued notice to the petitioner, since the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner was elevated as the Hon'ble Judge of this Court in 2012. The notice issued by the Court has been served upon the petitioner. Yet, no appearance has been entered in this matter. As such, no purpose would

Learned advocate for respondent No. 1 / management submits that the petitioner has been convicted by the Court having criminal jurisdiction, in Summary Criminal Case No. 54 of 1991, by judgment dated 5.1.1998, by which he was held guilty of the offences punishable under sections 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. Rule is discharged.
