Mr. Undre, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the post of the Sarpanch is reserved for S.T. candidate and no person from S.T. category is elected.

Learned AGP submits that in that case, Rule 4-A of the Bombay Village Panchayat (Sarpanch and Up-sarpanch) Election Rules, 1964 would be followed.

The prayer of the petitioner is also the same. 4.
