Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner. The learned Advocate submits that the petitioner's objection at least to the extent of deletion of dead persons from the voters list should have been accepted by the Election officer.

The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Election Officer/ respondent Nos.2 and 4 submits that, at the time of voting only those persons with a valid identification would be allowed to vote. As such, even if there is error of inclusion of dead person in the voters list, no person would be able to cast a vote in their name.

In view of the same, nothing survives in this petition. The petition stands disposed of. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any part of the order passed by the Returning Officer, he may approach the appropriate authority available in law. The petition is disposed of with above observation.
