This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to Respondent No.3 - Sub Divisional Officer to take decision on the application tendered by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from today; and it is accordingly directed. It needs to be recorded that the nomenclature of the tribe is "Koli Mahadev" and not as "Mahadev Koli", as mentioned by the petitioner in the application. The Sub Divisional Officer shall look into the matter and issue appropriate orders and may consider application of the petitioner for issuance of caste/tribe certificate certifying that he belongs to "Koli Mahadev", Scheduled Tribe.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
