Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Gram Sabha has passed the resolution opposing the auction of the sand spot, but the same has not been considered by the respondents. According to the learned counsel, the procedure for the same is also not followed.

Learned A.G.P. submits that the petitioner
2 WP 2596/17 has remedy before the Committee which is duly constituted.

In view of that, though Mr.Chavan, learned counsel for the petitioner canvassed submissions on merits of the matter, we are not inclined to consider the same. The petitioner may avail alternate remedy before the Committee. In case such application is filed, the Committee shall consider the same on its own merits and decide it within 15 days from the date of receipt of application.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
