As far as the order dated 13.2.2019 levying punishment upon the petitioners of stoppage of one increment by the Chief Executive Officer is concerned, the petitioners have a remedy before the Commissioner under the provisions of Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964. With regard to the transfer, the same is on the ground that on the basis of false information, the petitioners had secured orders of transfer.

In case the order of the Chief Executive Officer imposing punishment of stoppage of one increment is set aside by the Commissioner, then the consequences will follow. 3.

With these observations, Writ Petitions disposed of. As the order is pursuant to the punishment imposed, the petitioners may request the Commissioner about the time consumed in prosecuting the present writ petition.
