Issue notice to the respondents. Mr. Bangar the learned standing counsel waives service of notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. 2.

Mr. Jadhav the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed application before the Passport Seva Kendra, Jalgaon for change of their names in the Passport as the names of the petitioners are changed by following proper procedure. The said application is not decided. The learned counsel submits that the petitioners are given to understand that the Office of respondent No.2 is closed down. 3.

In that case the petitioners may make an application before the Competent Authority for change of their names in the Passport. The Competent Authority, where, the Application would be made shall take decision upon the Application filed by the petitioners for the change of 1/2

28.wp.5416.21.odt names in the Passport on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the Application.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
