Heard learned advocates for the parties in both the writ petitions.

Perused orders dated 30th November, 2016 passed by this court in writ petition No. 11768 of 2016 preferred against order dated 13th June, 2016 passed by District Judge - 2, Shrirampur in
{2} wp11768-16 Miscellaneous Civil Appeal No. 26 of 2015 and 28th November, 2017 passed in writ petition No. 13697 of 2017 which is preferred by original plaintiff against order dated 13th June, 2016 passed by District Judge - 2, Shrirampur in Miscellaneous Civil Appeal No. 24 of 2015.

It is reported that suit and counter claim have been pending since 2015 without any further progress. 4.
In the circumstances, without getting into merits or causing interlude in prevailing situation of almost two years, it appears to be expedient that, the suit and counter claim, which are stated to be pending before the same court, be decided expeditiously. 5.
As such, status quo be maintained by the parties pursuant to orders dated 30th November, 2016 and 28th November, 2017 during pendency of proceedings before trial court. Trial court to proceed with the matters as expeditiously as possible and decide the same withing a period of six months from the date of receipt of writ of this order.
