The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the respondent No. 2 for the release of vehicle and challenging the penalty. Even interim application is also filed, however, same is not decided. 2.

Considering the fact that, the vehicle is lying idle, the respondent No. 2 shall decide the appeal filed by the petitioner on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the respondent No. 2. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent No. 2 on 01.04.2021.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
