Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had earlier filed writ petitions before this court and this court under order dated 9th March, 2016, had protected the
2 wp 2303.18+ petitioners. The committee was directed to decide the proceedings within one year. The same are not yet decided. This court also had refrained respective College and the University from taking any adverse action and from prosecuting further studies. Still the respondent No. 5 has issued the communication that, if within seven days validity certificates are not submitted, the steps would be taken to cancel the admission. 3.
When the earlier order is in force, the respondent No. 5 could not have issued such letters. The respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 5 are entitled to take further course of action only upon the judgments delivered by the committee. As the validation proceedings are still pending, the impugned letters are quashed and set aside. The earlier order dated 9th March, 2016, shall remain in force. The committee shall take steps to abide by the order passed by this court. We are extending the time to decide the validation proceedings by four (4) months. The petitioners shall appear before the committee on 12th March, 2018. 4.
The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs. [A. M. DHAVALE, J.] [S. V. GANGAPURWALA, J.] marathe
