The petitioner is before this Court with a very limited grievance. His caste certificate mentions his surname as 'MISLWAD' instead of 'MISALWAD'. The learned A.G.P. on behalf of the respondents submits that page No.14 of the petition paper book is the receipt of an application submitted by the petitioner for seeking correction in the surname. However, now the Committee has undergone a technological change and the applications have to be filled in online.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off.

We record that the petitioner would submit an online application on or before 10/03/2022, and shall submit the original caste certificate physically. Respondent No.2 - Authority shall provide an acknowledgment to the petitioner. Respondent No.2, shall, thereafter, proceed to correct the surname of the petitioner in the caste certificate and issue the corrected caste certificate, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 31/03/2022.
