1) The application is filed for the relief of anticipatory bail. Both the sides are heard.

2) This Court has already granted interim relief in favour of the applicant. The papers of investigation shows that a statement of the original complainant was recorded under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He retracted the previous statement and he contended that there was chaos in the hall and there was no abuse in the

2 Application 1102 of 2017 name of caste. There are statements of other members the local body to the effect that no such abuses were given. When the alleged incident had taken place on 13-22017, the report was given on 19-2-2017. In view of these circumstances, this Court holds that the application needs to be allowed.

3) The application is allowed. Interim relief granted by this Court is confirmed.
