Mr. Jadhav, learned counsel submits that validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with respondent no.2 Committee since December, 2014. Same is not yet decided.

Petitioner is studying with respondent no.4 College in Ist Year B.D.S. Course.

We have heard learned A.G.P. for respondent nos. 1 and 2.

It is for the Committee to decide the validation proceedings. The said proceedings are pending for more than two years.

Considering the above, we pass following order.

Respondent no.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within nine months. Petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of said proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 14.3.2017. Respondent nos. 3 and 4 shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner nor shall refrain the petitioner from prosecuting further studies only because the validation proceedings are pending. Respondent nos. 3 and 4 can take further course of action depending upon the

judgment that would be delivered by the Committee.

Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
