It is stated, on instructions, by the learned AGP that the proceedings before the Scrutiny Committee would be concluded within a period of THREE MONTHS from today.

We accept this statement as an undertaking to this Court. In view thereof, we direct that Respondent No.3 shall not terminate the services of the Petitioner till the Scrutiny Committee passes an order in accordance with law.

However, we clarify that our directions shall not create any equities in favour of the Petitioner.
