1] Learned APP appearing for the State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is personally present before the Court, informs that the investigation in the

- 3 - crime is at the nascent stage. He further states that on completion of the investigation, if it is revealed that any of the petitioners / applicants before this Court is not involved in commission of the crime, the investigating agency would file a report to that effect in accordance with Section 169 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

2] In view of the statement made, it would not be necessary at this stage to appreciate the contentions raised by the petitioners / applicants touching the merits and de-merits of the matter.

3] Keeping the option of the petitioners / applicants open to approach appropriate forum at an appropriate stage, these criminal applications as well as the writ petitions are disposed of.
