The challenge herein is to the initiation of proceeding under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. The applicants herein are the husband, motherin-law and sister-in-law of the respondent Tejashri. The Protection Officer has given his report supporting the contentions of the respondent - wife. She has claimed reliefs under Section 18 to 22 of the Act. It appears that by filing the present proceedings, the application/claim of the respondent - wife is sought to be nipped in bud since the report of Protection Officer supports the respondent - wife'

s claim, no case is made out to interfere with the matter. Hence, the application is dismissed.
