2) The candidature of the petitioner for allotment of LPG distributorship has been turned down for the reason that the petitioner does not own the land for the purpose of setting-up of Godown at the advertised location. The petitioner has offered land at Survey Nos.471 and 472, which comes within Naleshwar Gram Panchayat, whereas the
{2} WP 2431 of 2018 advertised location is Rahati.
3) Since the petitioner has not offered the land situate at the advertised location, the decision of the Petroleum Company to hold the petitioner ineligible for allotment of distributorship, cannot be said to be arbitrary or erroneous.
4) The petitioner contends that she has deposited an amount of Rs.30,000/- before the field verification, which has been forfeited. The petitioner is held eligible to participate in the process and at the fag end, she has been declared ineligible. The petitioner belongs to Other Backward Class category and is from rural area. 5) In the circumstances, respondents shall consider the request of the petitioner for refund of amount of Rs.30,000/- deposited by her. If the petitioner tenders an application within four weeks from today, the respondent Corporation may
{3} WP 2431 of 2018 consider the same in accordance with regulations, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such application.
6) No interference is called for in the writ petition. Petition is devoid of merits, hence stands dismissed.
