The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, no decision is taken by the respondent Nos. 2 to 5 on an application given by the petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate ground. The said application was given for appointment on compassionate ground to the post of peon on account of the death of the father of the petitioner namely Chintaman Maroti Gopanpalle, who died during the course of employment with the respondent No. 2/company.

According to Mr. Malte, the learned advocate for the respondent Nos. 2 to 5, the petitioner was called to comply with

2 wp 4881.18 certain deficiencies, such as to provide necessary documents. However, the petitioner has not provided the same. 3.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner all the requisite documents are given to the respondent company. 4.

The respondent company shall take decision upon the application given by the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground on the basis of documents forwarded by the petitioner. The said decision shall be taken within a period of three (03) months from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
