Mr. Golegaonkar, learned advocate for the petitioners submits that in all these matters validation proceedings are pending with the committee for more than ten to twelve years. In all these matters vigilance has been completed, however final decision is not given.

Learned Additional Government Pleader and Assistant Government Pleader in respective matters accepts notice for all respondents and submits that the authority will decide the proceedings, if pending, in accordance with law.

In case the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claims of the petitioners are pending with the respondent - committee, the respondent - committee shall endeavour to decide the said proceedings expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months from the date of appearance of the petitioners. The petitioners shall appear before the committee on 19th March, 2018.
