The offence committed by the applicant herein is punishable with imprisonment of six months and/or fine of Rs.500/- or both. He has been behind the bars since 9th January, 2022. 3.

The learned APP has strongly objected to grant the application.

Considering the nature of offence and the fact that the applicant is behind the bars for little over two months, the application deserves to be allowed. Hence, following order:

O R D E R

(i) The bail application is allowed.

(ii) The applicant be released on bail in connection with Forest Crime Report No.01 of 2022, registered at Patna Chalisgaon Forest Department, Tq. Chalisgaon, District Jalgaon, for the offences punishable under Sections 26(1)(d)(g), 41(1) of the Forest Act, 1927, on his executing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with surety bond in the like amount.

(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
