Mr. Choudhari, learned counsel for petitioners submits that, petitioners have preferred an Appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax, Appeal in the year 2017. The petitioners made their submissions and argued the Appeals thrice, but till date no decision as been taken.

Mr. Sharma, learned counsel appears for respondents and submits that, all the Appeals are pending before the National Faceless Assessment Center, Delhi and the National Faceless Assessment Center Delhi allocates the matters to different Regional Centers.

According to the learned counsel for petitioners, as per the statutory provisions the Appeals have to be disposed of within one year. 4.
The Appeals may not have been disposed of because of the large pendency of matters. We may not enter into the rigmarole of the same.

In case, Appeals are filed by petitioners and the same are pending since the year 2017, the Appellate Authority i.e. the Authority where the Appeals filed by petitioners are pending now, shall if it is possible endeavour to decide the Appeals preferably within a period of six (06) months in accordance with law and procedure.

Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
