Mr. Bide, the learned counsel submits that, the petitioners have not been paid interest under section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act. The learned counsel states that, the E statement also makes the position clear. It is further submitted that even representation is given to the Collector and copy to the Special Land Acquisition Officer also, however, no steps are taken till then. The Special Land Acquisition Officer has to take decision about the same.

The respondent No. 3 shall take decision on the application of petitioners (Exh.- C page 52) on its own merits, in accordance with law, after hearing all the concerned expeditiously and
