The petitioners are seeking refixation in accordance with the Government resolution dated 06.08.2002 and 29.02.2024 for having working in the difficult area. They claimed that though they have been granted prima facie one additional scale, the fixation is incorrect. Their representation has been pending with respondent no. 5 dated 16.01.2025 (Exh. I).

The writ petition is disposed of directing respondent no. 5 to consider the representation (Exh. I) on its own merits and take some decision, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks under intimation to the petitioner.
