Petitioner did not fulfill the qualification requirement laid down in the advertisement issued by respondents on 27.12.2016. Petitioner did not pass typing examination and on the prescribed date for verification of documents, he did not possess the requisite certificate.

Respondents were justified in considering the claim of wait listed candidate since the petitioner was found to be ineligible to get appointment on the date prescribed for document verification. We do not find any error in the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal. Petition is devoid of substance hence, stands rejected.
