Leave to correct the description of Respondent No. 3 - Deputy Superintendent of Land Records. Correction be carried out forthwith.

Heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides. The District Collector in the proceeding under Section 14(1)(j-3) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, has directed the measurement of a property vide order dated 27.10.2023. Respondent No. 3 has still not obeyed the said order.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to Respondent No.3 to comply with the direction of the Collector within 30

48-WP-2435-2024.odt days and submit a measurement report along with a measurement map, before the District Collector. 4.

So also, save and except for the reason of non-payment of the measurement charges by the Petitioner, the District Collector shall call for an explanation from Respondent No. 3 as to why the directions were not complied with, for almost five months.
