Pursuant to our orders dated 20.03.2023 and 21.08.2024, the Chief Officer of the Mukhed Municipal Council, has tendered an affidavit dated 29.08.2024 along with documents (page Nos. 29 to 36). It is pointed out that he has taken charge as the Chief Officer, on 27.06.2024. He has started paying the retiral dues of the employees as per their seniority. Until today, three retired employees have been paid their entire dues. He prays for

(( 2 )) 903-WP-3093-2023 six months time to make the residual payment of the Petitioner, which, with compounding interest, is Rs.18,06,305/-, as on date. The unpaid dues are admitted by the Municipal Council and the calculations are placed on record.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions:- (a) The amount of Rs.18,06,305, shall be paid in three equated installments to the Petitioner.

(b) The first installment (1/3rd)would be paid, on or before 15.10.2024. The second equated installment would be paid, on or before 15.12.2024 and the third installment shall be paid, on or before 15.02.2025.
