This Petition is filed seeking direction to Respondent No.3 to consider the application of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in accordance with law and State Government/Corporation policy.

It appears that the petitioner has filed application way back on 28th September, 2016. However, as contended by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner no decision as yet is taken by

the Respondent-Corporation on the said application.

In that view of the matter, we direct Respondent No.3 to take decision on the application dated 28th September, 2016 (Exhibit-H/Page 30), if already not taken as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 4th January, 2018, and communicate the said decision to the petitioner.

It will be open for the RespondentCorporation to call the petitioner, if the concerned Officer is desirous to hear the petitioner and in need of certain documents.

With the above observations, the Petition stands disposed of.

We make it clear that we have not entered upon/considered the contentions raised in the said application or in this Petition on merits or entitlement of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground.
