The learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of the Respondents State.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the remainder land, post acquisition, be recorded in the name of the Government or may be acquired and the name of the Government be entered or the land may be restored to the Petitioner presuming that it is not acquired for earthquake rehabilitation in Gat No.19/1. 3.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that a representation has been made to the District Collector praying for a decision. Since compensation has not been paid, there was no option for the Petitioner, but to address the District Collector. 4.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

Let the District Collector deal with the representation of the Petitioner, within a period of 90 days. If any remedy is available to the Petitioner, we expect the District Collector to guide the Petitioner appropriately.
