Petitioners are praying for issuance of directions to respondent No.2, to determine rental compensation payable to petitioners, on account of taking over possession of the landed property, belonging to them, without initiating proceedings for acquisition of land.

{2} wp 3577.15.odt This petition can be disposed of by directing respondent No.2, as well as the Sub-divisional Officer, Beed, to determine the amount of compensation payable to the petitioners, in accordance with Government policy, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from today. On determination of amount of compensation, if petitioners are held entitled to receive the amount, the amount shall be disbursed by respondent No.3 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of such determination. In view of above, writ petition stands disposed of.
