The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has filed an appeal before respondent no.2 - Committee against the rejection of his application for issuance of Caste Certificate.

It appears that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before respondent no.2 since 20.12.2016.

Respondent no.2 shall decide the appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of three months from today.
