Heard learned Counsel for the respective parties. 2.

The petitioner assails the order dated 29.10.2021 passed by the Hon'ble Presiding Officer, University and College Tribunal, Aurangabad in Misc. Application (Review) No. 1 of 2017.

On 07.04.2025, this Court directed the respondent - Registrar, North Maharashtra University and called for an explanation on account of disobedience of the order of the Tribunal.

Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Registrar by name Ashok s/o. Mahadu Mahajan, the former Registrar of the University, has filed an explanation and has tendered an unconditional apology with respect to the specific contention raised in paragraph 9 of the affidavit in

In view thereof, the explanation is accepted. It is further pointed out that the proposal is presently pending before the Joint Director, Higher Education, Jalgaon Division, Jalgaon and certain deficiencies have been pointed out. Therefore, it is for the University to comply with the said deficiencies. After compliance, the Joint Director, Higher Education, Jalgaon Division, Jalgaon, shall take a decision in accordance with law. 6.

It is expected that the Joint Director, Higher Education, Jalgaon Division, Jalgaon, shall take a decision within a period of two (2) months from today.
