This is an application for regular bail in Crime No. 234 of 2015, registered at Jalna Taluka police station, for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 364-A, 387, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

2] Heard Shri V.B.Jagtap, learned counsel for applicant and Shri A.S.Shinde, learned A.P.P. for State. Perused papers of investigation.

3] One Iftekhar Ahmed is the first informant. On 28.9.2015 he lodged a report with police station alleging that his minor brother Etesham Ahmed was kidnapped by applicant and others for ransom of Rs.15 Lacs. It further appears from first information report and papers collected during investigation that applicant and others came

crap1325.16 in a car and on the point of knife threatened the informant that in case he would not give them Rs.15 Lacs his brother would not be released.

4] The offences alleged are serious in nature. From the material collected during investigation prima facie involvement of applicant in the commission of crime is apparent. This Court is thus not inclined to enlarge applicant on bail. Hence the following order. 5] Criminal Application stands dismissed.
