The bank which is a respondent in the writ petition no. 3006 of 2008 which was directed by the order of this Court dated 08-02-2023 to consider the petitioner's case for one time settlement according to its policy, has moved this review petition. 3.

After hearing the arguments, the learned advocate for the bank, on instructions, submits that the bank would only press for extension of the time to undertake the exercise as was directed by this Court.

Considering the fact that it is a matter of one time settlement according to the policy of the bank, we extend the time by two weeks with a rider that irrespective of continuation of the policy beyond 31 March 2023, the bank would consider the petitioner's case in accordance with the policy that has been in existence as on the date of the decision of the writ petition i.e. 08-02-2023. 5.

Review application is disposed of.
