We have heard Mr. Thombre, the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr. Kale, the learned Incharge Government Pleader refers to the affidavit filed by the Tahsildar, Aurangabad. In the affidavit it is stated that the special drive which was initiated by the respondent authorities vide circular dated 28.01.2021 regarding inspection of the ineligible ration cards, with effect from 01.02.2021 to 30.04.2021, the respondent No. 1 has given stay to the special drive until further orders vide circular dated 01.04.2021 and in compliance of the said stay order, the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 have stopped the special drive. It further states that, while resuming campaign, self explanatory instructions will be issued.

In view of that, the apprehension of the petitioner at present does not subsist. If in future the cause arises, the petitioner may agitate afresh. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
