PER COURT :

These petitions can be disposed of by granting instalments in respect of deposit of amount by petitioners towards Value Added Tax. Petitioners undertake to deposit 50% of the demand amount within a period of two weeks from today. The amount shall be deposited as undertaken by petitioners. Undertakings are accepted. Balance 50% of the demand amount shall be deposited within a period of eight weeks from today. On condition of deposit of amount as directed above, respondents are directed not to adopt coercive measures for enforcing recovery. The bank accounts which are already attached by respondents 2 and 3 shall be released from attachment. Directives issued by respondents 2 and 3 to the vendors of petitioners not to release the amount in favour of petitioners shall stand withdrawn.

In the event of failure of petitioners to abide by the undertaking in respect of deposit of amount, interim order granted by this Court shall stand automatically vacated apart from keeping the option open to respondent / department to initiation against of contempt for committing breach of the undertaking given to this Court in respect of deposit of amount.
