1] Mr.P.D.Patil, learned AGP brings to notice of this Court ordinance dated 30.04.2025. He submits that in terms of the Ordnance if a candidate is elected after 01.08.2022 for the Grampanchayats, Zilla Parishads, Panchayat Samitis after 01.08.2022 on the reserved seat and, if, he/she is not able to produce the caste validity certificate and is accordingly disqualified, the time to

3590.25WP+ produce the caste validity certificate is extended for twelve months from the date of the Ordinance i.e. it will extend till 29.04.2026.

2] In both matters, the petitioners have failed to supply the caste validity certificates within time. The time is extended by the Ordinance. As such, the petitioners would stand restored to their original elected posts till the date as contemplated in the Ordinance dated 30.04.2025. 3] The Writ Petitions stand disposed of accordingly.
