We have perused the applications moved by the petitioners. The petitioners are claiming relief pursuant to the provisions of Section 3 (1) of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 (hereinafter, in short, '

Act of 2006').

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners' applications are pending for more than one year. 4.

The learned Additional Government Pleader states that the applications would be decided by the respondent authorities in

accordance with law.

The petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and deal with the applications of the petitioners strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 2006, referred to above.
