Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceedings are pending since March 2017. The employer has issued notice to the effect that if validity certificate is not submitted within seven days then coercive action would be taken.

The learned A.G.P. submits that validation proceedings would be decided on its own merits.

Considering the fact that validation proceedings are pending, we pass the following order :

(a) The Respondent No.3 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 28.3.2018. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings and shall not seek adjournment.

(b) The Respondent No.2 employer shall not take adverse action only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending.

(c) The employer can take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation

(d) The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
